Vision (VSN)

On July 16, 2025, Bitpanda created the new Vision (VSN) token. With its introduction, the two previous Bitpanda tokens, BEST (Bitpanda Ecosystem Token) and PAN (Pantos), were converted to VSN and can now be exchanged at a fixed ratio. There are 0.89 VSN per PAN and 4.91 VSN per BEST.

Vision is the ecosystem token for the entire Bitpanda WEB3 world and is used in all areas.

How to get Vision (VSN)?

As of 16.07.2025 14:00 MEZ you can buy VSN on the following exchanges:

How many visions (VSN) will there be?

At the launch of Vision, 4.2 billion tokens will be available. After that, new tokens will be created and old tokens burned on a quarterly basis. Initially, 5% (=210 million tokens) will be redistributed throughout the year. This means that currently around 52.5 million tokens are distributed to all staked visions. Assuming that only 50% of all Vision are staked, this means that VSN’s APY can grow from 5% to 10%.

Will there be an airdrop for Vision (VSN)?

Yes, there will be a total of 3 airdrops. The last 3 non-executed BEST (Bitpanda Ecosystem Token) burns will be split. This means that at least 12,275,000 VSN are distributed per airdrop. The following criteria must be met in order to be eligible for the respective airdrops. In addition, all assets must be held on the Bitpanda Broker or the Bitpanda Wallet:

  1. Airdrop: This will be distributed to all BEST & PAN holders on August 13, 2025. The average token holdings from April 16, 2025 – July 16, 2025 will be taken as the basis.
  2. Airdrop: This is divided among all VSN stakers on November 13, 2025. The average staked Vision amount from July 16, 2025 – October 16, 2025 is taken as a reference.
  3. Airdrop: This is divided among all VSN stakers on February 13, 2026. The average staked Vision amount from October 16, 2025 – January 16, 2026 is taken as a reference.

Will there be staking rewards for Vision (VSN)?

As mentioned before, the initial staking rewards will be between 5 & 10%, depending on how much of the Vision tokens are staked. In addition, there are different advantages and disadvantages depending on whether the Vision tokens are staked on the Bitpanda broker or in the Bitpanda’s Web3 wallet. Below is a list of the pros and cons of staking Vision on the broker or in the wallet:

What will Vision be used for in the future?

Vision is intended to form and unite the basis for the entire Web3 ecosystem and broker ecosystem of Bitpanda. The token is no longer limited to the broker, but also offers advantages in the Web3 area and the entire onchain universe.

In general, Vision consists of 4 pillars:

  • Bitpanda Defi Wallet
  • Vision Protocol
  • Bitpanda Launchpad
  • Vision Chain

Bitpanda Defi Wallet

The Bitpanda Defi Wallet aims to open up the world of Web3 to users without any experience. This includes opportunities to generate passive income through staking and lending. In addition, there are tasks to complete in the app, allowing users to collect further rewards and bring them closer to Web3 step by step.

Vision Protocol

Formerly the Pantos protocol, the Vision protocol is now used, which has not only been extended, but even improved. There is no longer just talk of simple crosschain transfers, but the Vision protocol is intended to act as a meta aggregator that controls swaps and bridging processes across all supported chains.

Bitpanda Launchpad

Similar to existing launchpads, it is possible to invest in promising and tested Web3 projects at a very early stage. You can also participate directly with the Bitpanda Defi Wallet.

Vision Chain

In addition to the 3 products mentioned above, there will also be a Vision Chain in the future. This is an Ethereum-based layer 2 chain that is being developed for the B2B sector. Bitpanda’s regulated approach will be brought to the blockchain in order to meet the requirements of institutional partners. This will enable their customers to enter the Web3 world in a regulated manner, whereby tokenized assets such as shares, ETFs, real estate or stablecoins will land on the Vision Chain. The chain is expected to launch in 2026.
